The benefits of taking part in fun, hands on cooking and gardening experiences are almost endless. However, for some children, additional obstacles stand in the way of them growing, harvesting, preparing and sharing with their friends. Come along to hear educators share their experience of overcoming barriers so every one of their students could feel welcomed and included.
During this 60-minute webinar, we will hear from a panel of kitchen garden educators. Each will share their experience finding creative ways to engage students with diverse abilities and needs in meaningful experiences. There will be opportunities to share practice with others in breakout rooms and explore useful Shared Table resources.
This online webinar will take place using Zoom. A link will be sent to all registered participants before the event. You can join the webinar using a computer, tablet or mobile phone.
