Come along to our free virtual tour of Miltaburra Area School to learn what it's like to run a kitchen garden program located on a property, in a sparsely populated rural region on the way to the Nullabor Desert.
During this FREE virtual tour, you'll visit Miltaburra Area School in a remote, rural area of South Australia to hear about their Kitchen Garden Program which has been running since October 2014. The school runs from P-12 with student numbers varying each year between 50-65 students. Servicing a geographical area stretching along the west coast of the Eyre Peninsula, including Haslam, Smoky Bay, Wirrulla and Nunjikompita, the school is located 700km from Adelaide. The same kitchen garden duo has been with their program since it's inception, so join us to hear what it's like to run a kitchen garden program in an isolated part of Australia. Can't make this time? Register anyway and you'll receive the recording to watch at a time that suits.
