Virginia Primary School is a preschool to Year 7 school of approximately 315 students. Our preschool has 40 to 50 children and there are about 270 students from R-7. Our preschool enables continuity of learning from preschool to school. Our school is located in the township of Virginia, a well-established multicultural market gardening community 30 km from the centre of Adelaide. While the school is located on the northern outskirts of metropolitan Adelaide, it has a rural feel. The school reflects the wider community with students from culturally and linguistically diverse families. The main cultural groups represented in the school are Vietnamese, Anglo-Australian, Cambodian, Italian and Greek.
