Salisbury Downs Primary School is located approximately 17km north of Adelaide, and has a student population of around 350. Our focus is on proactive social learning. We use a site-developed scheme called the Ripples program at the beginning of the year to assist students successfully return to school. In mid-2009, we introduced Play is the Way as our preferred method of student behaviour support. There is a strong culture of collaboration among colleagues and community. As a part of our continuous improvement and innovation focus, we have successfully participated in initiatives such as Maths for Learning Inclusion, Wellbeing for Learning, and Primary Connections which links science and literacy.
