Calare Public School is a large rural school, in the country town of Orange. Calare offers a broad range of opportunities for students and is well known for its strong music and performing arts curriculum. The school aims at raising the environmental consciences and practices of students through its environmental awareness programs, and also caters well for its many gifted and talented students, with a combined grade extension class. The school is committed to the principles of fairness and social justice and is proudly public.
