Kitchen Garden Month recipe collection

Kitchen Garden Month recipe collection

In celebration of Kitchen Garden Month 2024, the Kitchen Garden Foundation team has curated a special recipe collection to give you a delicious little sampler of the dishes cooked up by children and young people in the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program.

Let's prep the fresh produce, embrace the springtime vibes, and experience the joy of cooking together as a community. Once you've whipped up your dish, please share it with us on Instagram. Remember to tag @kitchengarden_foundation and hashtag #KitchenGardenMonth.

Would you like your child to experience the Kitchen Garden Program at their school or early childhood service? Find out how to get started at our September information sessions for Early Childhood and Primary Schools, or get in touch with any questions. Happy cooking!

Children and young people participating in the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program learn to sow, grow and harvest fresh, seasonal produce. The just-picked veggies, herbs and fruit are used in delicious dishes, just like these! After preparing the meals together, students sit down to eat, fostering a sense of shared accomplishment and connection.

For more than 20 years, the Kitchen Garden Foundation has been skilling up children and their communities to lead healthier, more sustainable lives. But we want to do more! Your donation will help us to get the Kitchen Garden Program into more schools and early childhood services in Australia. All donations over $2 are tax-deductible. We are grateful for your support.
