To celebrate the fifth anniversary of her award-winning cookbook In Praise of Veg, Alice Zaslavsky has teamed up with accessory brand Erstwilder to release a vibrant new collection inspired by the book’s illustrations and recipes. 

Think colourful tomato brooches, pea earrings and green veg necklaces; pieces that bring Alice’s joyful food philosophy to life.

How to enter 

To enter, answer one of the following questions in 50 words or less: 

  • What is the most heart-warming impact you’ve seen from the Kitchen Garden Program on a child or community? 

or

  • Why do you think hands-on food education is important for children? 

Tip! We love reading your own words and real examples. 

Send your answer, full name, and name of your school (if applicable) to competitions@kitchengardenfoundation.org.au before midnight on 31 October 2025.  

Only one entry per person will be accepted. Winners will be contacted in November 2025.
