Cooking with Carisma

This month, we’re celebrating Carisma potatoes, grown in the Riverland and Malee regions of South Australia.

From breakfast to dinner, Carisma potatoes can be boiled, roasted, air-fried, baked or mashed. Created for the modern diet, these spuds have 25% less carbohydrates and a low GI rating, making them perfect for everyone to enjoy.

From Wednesday 3 July to Tuesday 30 July, 25 cents from every Coles Australian Carisma Washed Potatoes 2 kg bag will be donated to the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation to a maximum of $100,000. Grab a bag and get cooking!

Next week, Stephanie Alexander shares her crispy potato galettes topped with a speedy tomato sauce, goats cheese and fresh herbs. Courtney Roulston and Michael Weldon have more mouth-watering recipes starring potatoes. Keep your eyes on our Instagram and YouTube for the step-by-step recipes!

For members of the Kitchen Garden Program, explore our updated potato recipe collection on the Shared Table - our online resource library and community hub. One of our community favourites is the lightly spiced bolani katchalu (Afghan potato-filled pastries). Delicious!
