5 great school holiday activity ideas!

Looking for some ideas to help keep children occupied over the summer holidays? We’ve put together our top five school holiday activities to lure them away from screens and into the kitchen or garden. They are also lots of fun for grown ups to join in with!

1. Craft up a simple frame and head out into your garden to observe and draw the view as seen through your Window on the World.

2. Transform old newspapers into Newspaper Planting Pots and plant some seeds.

3. Rummage through your wardrobe to find some old clothes and a hat to Make a Scarecrow for your garden.

4. Spend an afternoon in the kitchen making Pizza of the Imagination using whatever herbs and veggies are ready to be harvested from your garden.

5. Pick some salad leaves and edible flowers from your garden and whip up a Salad of the Imagination to go with your pizza.
