Catherine Keating
Dr Catherine Keating is a public health expert who provides advice to Medibank and several VC-backed preventive health start-ups. She previously led the preventive health investment strategy for the Medibank Group, partnering with industry, research institutes and start-ups to design, test and scale health services and technologies to improve the health of Australians.
Catherine’s career has also spanned management consulting and health research. She has published more than 45 publications regarding the efficacy and cost-effectiveness of new services to prevent and manage chronic health conditions. Catherine is an Enterprise Fellow at the University of Melbourne and holds an advisory role at Monash University (Health Economics). She holds a PhD in Health Economics, a Masters in Public Health and clinical qualifications as an Occupational Therapist. Last year she won the Australian Clinical Trials Committee Partnership Award in recognition of her outstanding contribution to industry-research partnerships.
